As far back as I can remember I have had a love affair with flowers, all types of flowers. It didn’t matter if they were wild flowers, greenhouse grown, exotic or your everyday garden variety bloomers. Fragrant or
not it just didn’t matter, I just loved flowers. I would have them growing in pots or in vases throughout my home.
I just loved the way they could brighten up a room, hide a bad spot or start a conversation. I loved how they could dry up a tear, transform the sternest face into a smile and oh the sparkle they could put in your eyes as they can speak right to your heart. Isn’t it amazing how a single rose can show the deepest of affection or the greatest token of honor, they not only possess beauty, but power as well. Think about it, flowers have been used throughout human history to express every kind of emotion imaginable. Given my strong attachment with flowers it came as no surprise to me how consumed I was by the prospect of the preservation of one of my much loved items, flowers!
I actually stumbled upon the concept years ago when planning my second wedding. While my own personal preservation experience went badly, I knew I was on to something. That bad experience in actuality turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me as it set me on a career path I might have never undertaken.
The business of preserving flowers is absolutely me! So when I say my heart is in my designs, or that I am passionate about my work, it is no understatement. I love the creative art of flower power.
Thank you for letting me do for you what I love!
Cindy
